Watching someone I love experience vision loss fro Watching someone I love experience vision loss from macular degeneration changed how I see everything. It reminded me how precious sight truly is & how important early detection & research can be in protecting it.

Vision changes look different for everyone, but our stories & connections remain. Regular, comprehensive dilated eye exams can help catch changes early, & research gives hope for the future.

This #MacularDegenerationAwarenessMonth, I’m proud to support Macular Degeneration Research, a BrightFocus Foundation program, to celebrate the beauty of sight & raise awareness of what’s at stake.

The Easiest Homemade Oreo Bark for Valentine’s Day.

February 4, 2026      Porsha Carr

Hi guys! If you’re looking for a last-minute Valentine’s Day treat that looks cute, tastes amazing, and takes almost no effort, this homemade Oreo bark is it. No baking, no fancy tools, and no stress. I made this in under 15 minutes, and it’s perfect for kids, classroom treats, gifts, or a sweet night-in dessert.

Seriously if you can melt chocolate, you can make this.

How to Make Homemade Oreo Bark

Step 1: Prep your pan

Line a baking pan with parchment paper. This makes cleanup easy and helps the bark lift right off once it’s set.

Step 2: Melt the chocolate

Melt your chocolate chips and white chocolate chips. You can do this in the microwave in short intervals, stirring in between, or use a double boiler whatever you prefer. I use the microwave.

Step 3: Pour and swirl

Pour the melted chocolate onto the parchment-lined pan. Drizzle the melted white chocolate over the top. Use a spoon or spatula to gently swirl the two together. Don’t overmix  you want that marbled look.

Step 4: Crush the Oreos

Place Oreo cookies into a sandwich bag and crush them up. You can use your hands or a rolling pin no need to make them super fine. This is my favorite part.

Step 5: Add toppings

Sprinkle the crushed Oreos evenly over the chocolate, then add Valentine’s Day sprinkles on top. Gently press them in so they stick.

Step 6: Chill dude

Place the pan in the fridge for about one hour, or until fully set.

Step 7: Break + enjoy

Once hardened, remove the bark from the pan and break it into pieces. That’s it you’re done!

Tips & Variations

  • Swap Oreos for another cookie if you want
  • Add mini marshmallows, pretzels, or candy hearts
  • Use pink or red melting wafers for extra Valentine vibes
  • Store in an airtight container in the fridge

Perfect for Valentine’s Day

This Oreo bark makes the cutest Valentine’s Day treat with almost no effort. Wrap pieces in cellophane bags, add a ribbon, or serve it on a platter for a party. It’s one of those recipes that looks impressive but is secretly so easy.

If you’re short on time but still want to make something homemade, this one’s a win.

 Simple, sweet, and totally stress-free.
