That’s why I created a simple, printable Back-to-School Checklist to help you stay organized and stress-free.
This checklist isn’t just for the kids it includes a few helpful reminders for us parents too. From packing up their backpacks to remembering to do something nice for yourself, this list is your one-stop guide for back-to-school peace of mind.
For the Kidos.
- Backpack
- Lunchbox
- Notebooks
- Folders
- Pencils & Erasers
- Crayons or Colored Pencils
- Scissors & Glue
- Reusable Water Bottle
- Hand Sanitizer
- Tissues (for the classroom)
- Headphones (if required)
- Sneakers for P.E.
- School Uniforms or New Clothes
For the Parents.
- Label all supplies and clothing
- Fill out and return school forms
- Create a family calendar with school events
- Buy or make a ‘first day of school’ board
- Prep a lunch/snack station
- Schedule a back-to-school hair appt
- Plan a small gift for your child’s teacher
- Treat yourself to something nice (coffee, a new book, spa day you earned it!)
