Hi friends! How has your summer been going? Ours has been going well. School is out, the sun is out and that means the kids are out too. Getting outdoors during this season and the upcoming fall season is a must. Playing outside, running, climbing, jumping, is something we love to do. But something we don’t really love doing? Dealing with icky, sticky, cuts, scrapes, and bruises. In today’s blog, I am going to share with you 3 tips for safe play. Plus introduce you to our little friend Dermoplast.
Introducing Dermoplast.
Have you ever heard of it? Dermoplast is a one-of-a-kind antibacterial product that helps with those icky, sticky, cuts, scrapes, and bruises I mentioned earlier. The germ-killing spray helps to also relieve things such as sunburn and pain. Safe for ages 2+ it also acts to help prevent infections that may be caused by an icky, sticky.. okay, okay you get the picture. There are actually two different types.
Dermoplast Pain, Burn, & Itch and Dermoplast First Aid. Dermoplast Pain, Burn, & Itch is a no-touch spray that is great for insect bites, minor cuts, etc. It is made with aloe and lanolin to help smooth the skin by cooling and comfort. While Dermoplast First Aid is also a no-touch spray it’s great for burns, scrapes, and kills 99.99% of germs. Pretty neat right? So now that we know all about Dermoplast let’s just right into those tips, shall we?
Oh yeah! tips.
Tip #1 Use Dermoplast: Playing safe outdoors or even indoors is always important. But just because you play safe doesn’t mean accidents are preventable right? Having some on hand is the best way to stop germs and infections. Plus it helps with irritation as well. We keep both types in our bathroom cabinets at all times.
Tip #2 Dress play appropriate: Dressing for play is a very smart thing to do. When you dress for different types of play it can create a safe play environment. For example, don’t wear shoes with laces that constantly come undone. Opt for shoes with velcro or play inside where shoes arent even needed.
Tip #3 Practice safe play: Rather it’s practicing no pushing, shoving or anything crazy teaching our little ones to practice safe play is vital. When we teach them how to play safe it creates fewer accidents and happier children.
Happy Play Time.
