As a mom, I’m usually the one behind the camera. My phone is filled with photos of my girls, but there aren’t nearly enough pictures that include me in these everyday moments with them.
That’s one of the reasons I was excited to partner with Sparq Photos for a mommy-and-me photo session with my daughters.
Our session took place at William Land Park in Sacramento, and it ended up being the perfect setting for a morning of making memories together. The weather was beautiful, the park was gorgeous, and the girls had so much fun exploring and enjoying time together.

We had the pleasure of working with our photographer, Inesa, and she was absolutely wonderful. She was kind, patient, and so sweet with all three girls. Instead of focusing on perfect poses, we spent our time laughing, walking through the park, and simply enjoying being together. Those genuine moments are often the ones that become our favorite memories.
What I loved most about this experience was that it didn’t feel stressful. There was no pressure to be perfect. It was simply an opportunity to slow down and capture this season of life with my daughters.
As parents, it’s easy to keep putting family photos off until life slows down. The truth is, life rarely slows down. These moments are happening right now, and I’m so grateful we took the time to document them.
The photos from this session are ones I know we’ll treasure for years to come, and I can’t wait to display them in our home.
