Hi guys! This past weekend was one we’ll never forget as we celebrated a huge milestone for Ivy. While I want to respect her privacy and keep many of the details from her graduation day just for our family, I will share that she did an amazing job as a guest speaker, made the honor roll, and made us incredibly proud. Watching her shine on stage was such a special moment, and seeing so many family members come together to support her meant the world to us.
The day after graduation, we hosted a celebration in her honor, and it was everything we hoped it would be. We kept it simple and focused on spending quality time with family and her best friend while celebrating all of her hard work.
One of the biggest hits of the day was the giant water slide bounce house. Since it was such a warm day, the kids had an absolute blast splashing, sliding, and playing outside. We also had plenty of delicious food, including barbecue faves like hamburgers and hot dogs.

Because Ivy recently got braces, I wanted to make sure there were plenty of treats she could enjoy. We had cupcakes, fresh strawberries and pineapple, Ring Pops, and even a snow cone machine that was a huge hit with everyone. The snow cone vendor (also bounce house vendor) was wonderful and helped make the day even more fun.

With temperatures reaching around 100 degrees, we were grateful to have both indoor and outdoor spaces for everyone to enjoy. My mom, sister, niece and I spent time setting up decorations and making sure everything was ready, and seeing it all come together was so worth it.
More than anything, this celebration was about honoring Ivy and everything she has accomplished. Watching her grow into such a smart, kind, hardworking young lady has been one of the greatest joys of my life honestly. We are so proud of her and excited to see what comes next.
Congratulations, Ivy! We love you and are so proud of all you’ve achieved. Here’s to Junior High!
