Riley’s birthday isn’t until the end of December, but we always celebrate early due to the holidays. This year, she’s turning 3, and her party theme was none other than Baby Shark!
Baby Shark de de details.
Our amazing friend Latesia over at We So Extravagant Creations came over first thing in the AM to transform the space into a vibrant under-the-sea shark wonderland. She went all out with colorful Baby Shark-inspired decorations, including a stunning balloon garland, towering balloon columns and a custom welcome sign.
Nicki worked her magic with treats and food for the party. She created adorable ocean themed jello cups and marshmallows, and her nachos stole the show—absolutely chef’s kiss! Everyone couldn’t get enough of them.
Riley’s cake was a showstopper, made by our favorite, Megan’s Bake Shop. It was a beautifully designed Baby Shark-themed cake with Riley’s name on it. I love giving Meg creative freedom because she never misses—her cakes are always perfection!
I put together a fun candy bar that everyone loved, using customized tags from JBelle Creations on Etsy and a variety of delicious candy from Amazon. It was such a sweet addition to the party! We also had a small fruit and cheese platter from Sam’s Club, plus a variety of drinks including water, soda, and juice to keep everyone refreshed. The tables were dressed up with covers from Amazon, and I also got the matching plates and napkins there to tie everything together.
For party favors, I put together Baby Shark sippy cups filled with themed ring pops, a tube of bubbles, and topped them off with customized favor tags from Sweetheart Party Shop also on Etsy. They turned out so cute!
We also rented a bounce house from our go-to Bounce House Rentals, which kept the kids entertained for hours.
3 Here Comes Our Shark!
The party was smaller and more laid-back compared to last year, but it was just as fun. We enjoyed watching the kids bounce, playing with the toys by the fire in the playroom, and opening presents together.
It was such a special day, and I’m incredibly grateful for our family and friends who made Riley’s celebration even more memorable. Now we’re officially counting down the days until her actual birthday—doo doo doo doo doo!
