Hi guys! Easter is just around the corner, and what better way to celebrate than with some adorable and tasty treats? Inspired by the creativity of the blogger ItsAlwaysAutumn.com, I am so excited to share a delightful recipe for Easter pretzel bunnies. These sweet and salty snacks are sure to be a hit at any Easter gathering. So grab your taste buds and let’s get hopping into the kitchen!
Ingredients:
– Square Pretzels: We used Snyder’s Snaps pretzels for their perfect shape and crunch.
– White Candy Melts: These smooth and creamy melts will form the perfect coating for our pretzel bunnies.
– Spring-Colored M&Ms: Add a pop of color and sweetness to your bunnies with these festive M&Ms.
– Edible Marker: I used the Wilton edible pen to give your sweet bunny a silly face.
Instructions:
1. Before starting the recipe, cut your M&Ms into halves to create the bunny’s ears. Then set them aside for later.
2. Place the white candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave for only a few seconds; you don’t want them too melted, just a tad.
3. Arrange the square pretzels in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet and carefully add your candy melt on top of it.
4. Place a whole M&M in the center of the candy melt and take your halved M&Ms, placing one on each side for the ears while the candy melts are still warm.
5. Allow the pretzel bunnies to cool and harden, then use your marker to draw on a tiny face. Enjoy!
