Hi guys! Easter is coming! Easter is coming! As the vibrant hues of spring emerge and the warmth of summer beckons, itās the perfect time to infuse Easter baskets with the spirit of fun and adventure. This year, I wanted to create really cool Easter baskets for my three girls, each brimming with the mixture of sunny days and outdoor escapades. So the theme for the basket this year? Spring summer fun!
Building the Theme.
So if youāre new here every year, I create an Easter basket for my kids with the theme (check out last years here). My mom always created an Easter basket with the theme for us so of course I wanted to keep the tradition going with my own kids. Plus it makes it so much easier. With the theme of “Spring Summer Fun” in mind, I scoured the aisles of Hobby Lobby, where creativity knows no bounds and of course, big discounts.
Curating the Perfect Basket
Nearly everything in their basket came from Hobby Lobby. Check out everything I used below and the exact links to purchase.
Sand Castle Bucket:This set the stage for seaside dreams. We often take a lot of trips to the beach during the spring and summer seasons, so the castle is great. Each kid has one, and they donāt have to share with each other.

Goggles:This is another fun aspect of the basket that goes along with beach days or even pool days. Luckily, the goggles come in a pack of three, which was perfect for my three kids.

Light-up Jump Rope:I thought this was really cool, especially for my older girls. I did not bother grabbing one for Riley because she is just too small to understand the concept of jump roping. But this jump rope promises hours of outdoor play.

Bubble wand:What little one doesnāt love bubbles? The bubble wand adds a touch of whimsy, inviting laughter-filled afternoons, and goggles hinted at poolside adventures.

Light Up Diving Wands: I thought these ones were pretty unique, and I also loved again that they came in a pack of three. The light-up ones are weighted so they sink to the bottom of the pool, and kids can practice diving to go catch them, supervised, of course.

Chocolate Easter bunnies:No Easter basket is complete without a fun, chocolate bunny. I feel like no matter how old my kids get, I can always guarantee that they will love a bunny in their basket.

Ready For Spring & Summer!
With the pieces of the puzzle in hand, I carefully assembled each basket, weaving together elements of excitement and anticipation. The Sandcastle took center stage, surrounded by Easter grass, the light-up jump rope coiled snugly beside it, ready to illuminate evening playtime. A bubble wand peeked out, promising frolicsome moments in the sun, while goggles whispered of summertime splashes. Lastly, the light-up toy nestled in, adding a sprinkle of enchantment to the mix.
Each item with the magic of possibility and joy helped me create baskets that not only will delight my daughters but also sparked their imaginations and fill our spring and summer with fun as we embark on new cool adventures together. Remember that the true essence of Easter lies in the joy of sharing moments of love, laughter, and boundless wonder. Happy Easter, friends!
