December 29: A few things happened. One, my soulmate was born; two, the tiniest love of my life was also born; and three, life would never be the same. Today, we celebrate my husband and my baby girl on their birthday.
Dear Dayjhan,
I already told you today I don’t wanna get sappy. I could write a 100-paragraph blog on what you mean to me. But I will keep it sweet and simple. I love you. I love you for being you, love you for being my person. Love you for the way you protect me and our girls. Love you for how you love our girls. I’m so glad I get to do life with you. Even on the ugly days, I am so glad to call you my husband and me your wife. I can’t remember if I’m Sucka or you’re Buster #iykyk, but either way, have a wonderful birthday, hubby.
Dear Riley,
Mommy’s baby, our 3rd girl, our fierce and sassy now 2-year-old. Half of my heart hurts because you’re growing so fast, and the other half is so happy watching it happen. You give me a run for my money every single day and have no regrets about it. I love when you hug my neck and say “I wuv you mommy” and give me a sloppy kiss. You are one of a kind, and God knew exactly what he was doing when he gave me you. I love you, my sweet Ryloo. Happy birthday, baby girl.
I love you guys. Happiest birthday. Xoxo.
