Hey there, pumpkins! Lol, see what I did there? Happy fall! If you guys have been around for a while, you know fall is my season. Of course, I had to start the season off with a trip to none other than Bishop’s Pumpkin Patch!
Last weekend, my girls and I embarked on a thrilling adventure to Bishop’s Pumpkin Patch with our fantastic friends, Christina, and her adorable kids, Addy and Cam. It was an unforgettable day filled with laughter, pumpkins, and memories that will warm our hearts all season long.
The day kicked off with us heading right into the patch to shoot some photos of the little ones before they got down and dirty. We snapped photos of our kids and each other as they played, running around and checking out all the ginormous-sized pumpkins. There were pumpkins literally bigger than Riley! Watching their little faces light up as they stumbled upon the pumpkins was an absolute delight.
We couldn’t resist the temptation of the pony rides. Ari and Addy had a ton of fun riding around on the ponies as Ivy, Cam, and Riley played on the mini playground, taking turns sliding down the big slide. We also hit up the carousel, to which all the kids rode and enjoyed.
There was a ton of fun things to do at Bishop’s, so much, in fact, we actually spent 6 full hours there! In that time, some other things we did included riding the airplanes, eating lots of good food, playing on the playground and tires. Oh, and can’t forget feeding the animals. The kids had a ton of fun feeding the animals, especially Riley. She seemed to be completely fearless feeding the goat over and over. The corn maze was also another thing we hit up! The famous maze of twists and turns that left us giggling and occasionally puzzled. Even left me and Riley running back to the entrance because we couldn’t finish it haha. Thank goodness for Christina, who seemed to have an uncanny knack for leading the rest of the kids in the right direction. Even Aria, who came out with quite the tale. She says she was stung by a bee! I immediately freaked out (inside) because none of my kids had been stung by a bee before. But luckily she was alright!
Of course, no trip to the pumpkin patch is complete without a hayride! We all hopped on a tractor-pulled wagon, surrounded by golden fields and the crisp autumn air. Our children’s laughter echoed through the fields as we soaked in the hot but beautiful fall season. Riley even decided on the ride back she would share her love with a completely different family of strangers and sit by them. I can’t make this stuff up. This was a day for the books.
Our playdate at Bishop’s Pumpkin Patch was a perfect blend of fun, friendship, and fall festivities. An ideal way to make fun memories. Thanks, Bishops, for a fun time, and you guys be sure to check out the pumpkin-filled photo dump of our day below.
