Raise your hand if you’re like me and always trying to find semi healthier dinner options for your family. Well if you are then todays blog is totally for you! Because today we are cooking beef and potatoes.
Beef + Potatoes.
Now beef and potatoes may not sound like the most exciting dish of all dishes but it truly is very delicious. I came a similar recipe online and immediately had to try the dish. This dish is around 380 calories it only takes 15 minutes of prep time and 30 minutes of cook time. It’s very simple, colorful and your family will thank you so let’s get started.
Ingredients list.
You will need all of the below to cook up your dish.
- 2 cups of rice. (Depending on how much rice you like)
- 1 cup of cheese.
- 1 lb of diced potatoes.
- 1 Red bell peppers.
- 1 lb of lean ground beef/turkey.
- 1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce.
- Seasonings (your choice).
Time to cook!
Step 1. Grab your rice and cook as you normally would. Get that out of the way and start on your dish.
Step 2. Take your diced potatoes and sauté with olive oil.
Step 3. Add in your lean ground beef/turkey and brown it. This is a great time to add in your seasonings of choice. I just used a little bit of lawrys and parsley.
Step 4. Add in your Worcestershire sauce and bell peppers. Cool everything until veggies are soft and meat is done. Take your plate add rice and your dish on top and that’s it!!
