Hi guys! Happy June! Even though it’s like 2 days from being over. But have no fear my May book review is finally hear! Let’s jump right into our one paragraph review!
Meet Me In Paradise (the review).
This book was an emotional whirlwind of love, death, and adventure. The book follows the main character Marin (I love this name so much btw) a women who is basically stuck in a rut in her every day boring routine of life. Then we have her wild little sister Sadie who’s adventurous and outgoing doesn’t follow a routine like her sister. She’s a free sprit like their mom was before she passed. The sisters agree to spend some much needed time together and take a trip to a tropical island Saba. There Marin falls head over hills for a man named Lucas who is not only the owner of the hotel but secretly a friend of her sister Sadie. Long story short the book drags a few chapters but then Marin realizes Sadie missed her flight to the island on purpose and set her up to meet Lucas. Oh Sadie is also dying and only has days to live. This was all an effort to get her sister to live outside her comfort zone. The last few chapters are a tear jerker and Sadie passes. Marin is left alone and the book kinda ends. PHEW! I really left out a lot and need more than one paragraph on these reviews.. though that’s what makes it fun! Anyway I give the book 7/10 stars. The chapters were short, storyline was fun but the book did drag at moments. I’d recommend totally reading this though!
