Hi friends + fam!
We are back! And when I say we are back I mean we’re back home from the most magical place on earth. Our home away from home of course Disneyland! The family and I were invited down to Disneyland Resort’s to experience the return of the Nighttime Spectaculars. Main Street Electrical Parade, Disneyland Forever Fantasmic, World Of Color and bonus the brand new Tale Of The Lion King! Two days filled with action packed Disney fun! So check out all the details plus more below.
Disney we’re here!
Disney was so amazing per usual. But unlike my other Disney blogs (which you can read here) I won’t go into a day by day play by play because I wanna jump into all the Nighttime Spectacular details. But I did want to share a few cool things before I jumped into those.
We arrived in Anaheim nice and early and we’re so excited for this trip. Disney hosted our stay at the wonderful Disneyland hotel. We had never been before and the grounds were awesome. We had fun shopping in the gift shop, playing games with Chip and Dale in the lobby and even swimming. I highly recommend if you’re in town staying there.
Another highlight from our trip was being able to have live meet and greets with our favorite characters again. It felt so good to hug Mickey again. The girls were so excited too. One of their favorite moments was meeting Joy from Inside Outside they danced with her and she even played peek a boo with Riley it was so sweet.
lastly one pretty neat highlight was all the exclusive things we got to do on this trip. Disney had a full daily itinerary planned for us. A dinner party at Hyperion Queue, Avengers Campus after hours experience, breakfast at Fantasyland theater and even a dessert party in Tomorrowland. Plus for every show we were escorted to reserve seating. They really spoiled us and we appreciated every second. Did I mention the Lion King?
Tale of the Lion King.
The Tale of the Lion King is a live action show located in the Fantasyland theater. The show tells the classic tale of the Lion King narrated by those of the Pride Lands. The show features fan favorites like Sima and Nala and songs like Hakuna Matata. It’s fun for the whole family even Riley only being 5 months enjoyed it. So be sure to check it out coming to Disney soon! Now time for those spectaculars.

Main Street Electrical Parade:
A parade that has been around since before I was born celebrates its 50th anniversary. With more than a million colorful lights, displays, electro-synthe-magnetic music and more this parade is a must see! Catch the parade even Elliot the dragon at Disneyland! (Show times 8:45PM, 10:45PM subject to change. Always check the Disney app)
Disneyland Forever Fireworks:
Fireworks with attitude you could only imagine in your wildest dreams. This firework show is unlike any other at the park. With amazing visual effects and legendary music that will have you dancing down main with your family. These fireworks need to be on your Disneyland to do list. (Showtimes 9:30PM subject to change. Fantasmic:
OH MY GOSH when I say you have to experience this! You have to! I am so thankful my girls and I got to see this together for the first time. This show is brilliant! Live performers, pyrotechnics, beautiful water effects, fire, fireworks, singing and more oh so much more. Fantasmic is a dream come true. It reminds us all why Disney is magical and you have to see it live at Disneyland. (Showtimes 9:00PM, 10:30PM subject to change. Always check the Disney app)
World Of Color:
This show had been on my bucket list forever. The most colorful water show you’ll ever see over at DCA right in paradise garden park. Disney and Pixar favorites come alive as water shoots in the air showcasing storytelling magic. With 19,000 square feet of water. You’ll be sure to enjoy this show and get a little wet if you’re sitting up front too.
