Hi friends + family!
Today we dive into something oh so delicious! Something that everyone will enjoy! Something warm, soft and sweet. Well if you don’t know know you know we are making homemade doughnut holes.
Home sweet doughnuts.
Doughnut holes are pretty much the baby of a regular doughnut. Bite sized holes of goodness that are inspired by doughnuts. These homemade doughnuts are so fun because they are cool to make and they’re tasty! No matter if it’s for a breakfast treat or afternoon pick me up (like we had). These tiny bad boys hit the spot so what do we need? And how do we make ‘em?
The sweet ingredients.
-A can of biscuits (any brand)
-6 tbsp of butter.
-1 tbsp of cinnamon
-1/2 cup of sugar.
Let’s get to baking.
Step 1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
Step 2. While your oven is preheating open up your biscuits and separate them. Take each biscuit and cut them into 4 pieces.
Step 3. Take each piece and roll into a ball. This is where we create our doughnut hole. My favorite part!
Step 4. Take your 6 tbsp of butter and microwave till melted. You may then take your ball and dunk into your melted butter.
Step 5. Grab a bowl and mix together your cinnamon and sugar. Roll each buttered ball into the mix.
Step 6. Take Some cooking spray of your preference (I used Pam). Then spray your baking dish. Bake for 15-25 minutes depending on how you like your doughnut holes and you are finished!
I donught lie.
No lie guys these are bomb and they are probably one of my favorite food post I’ve done so far. Try them with your family or friends and let me know what you think. You could even get fancy and add your own icing! Yummy!
