Hi friends + family!
Today is the last day in February. As you know February generally is a super fast month. With only 28 days in this month I kept trying to decide rather we were gonna celebrate Ry’s 2 months on February 28 or March 1. But I decided February would be okay so here we are.
Our sweet baby is 2 months (check our month 1 here). It’s almost to much for my heart to take. It’s moving to fast and every single day I kiss her a million times, I hold her every chance I get. I sniff her cause her little baby scent is something I never wanna forget. Time is a thief but I am making the most of each moment. Well.. here we go.
Riley’s monthly update.
Riley is: 2 months old.
Riley weighs: Almost 11lbs now!
Riley is eating: 99.9% breast milk.
Riley sleeps: Pretty well still. She still wakes up durning the night but less and less. She even sleeps 5 hour stretches sometimes. Durning the day she still naps a lot. Her naps are very random.
Riley likes: To lay on her back. She loves to just lay there and look around or coo. She also loves loud loud music when she sleeps.
Riley dislikes: The car seat were still working on it. It’s getting a little better though.
Riley is learning: Two things. She’s learning to control her head more. We’re still wobbly a lot but that’s okay. She’s also learning she has hands and has started to explore eating them.
Riley monthly accomplishment: Riley is smiling! If we talk to her she will smile or sometimes it’s just at random moments but she’s finally smiling. Our little gummy bear Riley Smiley.
Riley random fact: Our sweet girl has developed eczema like both her sisters. We knew it would only be a matter of time. It doesn’t seem to hurt or bother her but we’re treating it accordingly.
