Hi friends + family.
Happy Friday! the long president day weekend is upon us and you know what that means? The kids are home longer than usual. For some of us it a 3 or 4 day weekend. For others a week or so. But no matter how long the holiday is for your little ones they gotta eat, right? On todays blog we’re throwing together super simple kid friendly kabobs.
Kid kabobs list:
-Mini kabob sticks.
-Cherry tomatoes.
-Cheese square or block of cheese.
-Lunch meat (your choice I used turkey).
Making the bobs:
Step 1. Take your mini stick and start with your cherry tomato. You will need one on each to keep everything on the stick so end so always start with this.
Step 2. Take your lunch meat and fold into small half’s add to your stick. Note: make sure your meat is dry it’s easier to get on the stick and won’t make the rest of your stick wet.
Step 3. Add your cheese square. This was a little hard for me as my squares kept breaking. So what I would suggest small sticks OR a block of cheese that way you can slice your own thick squares that won’t break. Once you’ve added your cheese repeat steps to the end of stick and end with another cherry tomato.
Fun, yummy & cute.
Let’s face it. This snack isn’t just yummy but it’s also really cute and fun to make with your little ones. Be sure to try it and let me know whatcha think!
