Happy 2022 friends + family!
We made it! Hello 2022 we are here, we have arrived and we are ready. I am so excited to be here and I feel incredibly thankful to be writing this blog too. Another year we have together to make the best memories we can and just live life.
2021 I can honestly say was the happiest year of my life. Its funny because durning the year living through all the moments that made it so special I didn’t even realize it was the happiest year of my life. It wasn’t until the end of the year when we all look back and reflect on the year we had I realized wow I had one hell of a year.
In January I actually caught Covid-19 and it wasn’t an ideal way to start the year. But the case I had was very mild and I had practically no symptoms and felt fine the entire time. I was lucky and I started reflecting on how lucky I was. I decided to make some life changes which let to more positive things happening in my life. In a way Covid-19 opened up my eyes and made me a better person.
Durning the year my family and I went through some major changes. Went did things like go hiking together which was so much fun, we took small road trips and even went to Disneyland a few times. But of course the biggest changes came in waves.
We purchased our first home. It was such a long journey but we did it. I’m so in love with our home and what we have done with it so far. Cant wait to share more of that later in the year. After our home we ended up purchasing our first car. Our 2022 Ford Explorer which i’ll also talk more about in a later post. But the best change of them all? Riley.
Riley was born December 29 2021 and we welcomed our sweet girl just in time to be in the hospital for two days and make it home hours before the new year to ring it in with Ivy and Aria. Riley is such a blessing to our family. We love her so much. Having a little baby in the house has changed every single dynamic but it has been the best.
2021 thank you for being everything my family and I needed after the stress of 2020. Thank you for all of the love and blessings. Thank you for all the memories good days and not so good days. Thank you for our sweet baby girl.
2022 you have a hard act to follow. But if you’re anything like 2021 we welcome you.
Happy New Years guys! I hope it’s the happiest year of your life.
