Hi, friends! Today my good friend Maria of Mariawilsun.com and I are officially bringing you a series. A series of some of the best Instagram-worthy spots in the Sacramento area. Sacramento, CA is one of the most beautiful and diverse places in the country. It’s full of amazing people, delicious food, beautiful scenery, and of course those Instagram-worthy spots. So today Maria and I have teamed up and found 6 different spots for you. Check out my 3 below then head to Mariawilsun.com to check out the other 3. Ladies and gentlemen get those cameras ready!
Instagram-worthy photo spots:
1. Here comes the sun mural:
This mural is definitely one of my favorite in the city. I was so excited to shoot here, just ask Maria. The Here comes the sun mural is the perfect spot for any free-spirited photo taker. The wall is filled with vibrant colors, in an open alley for lots of space to shoot and lots of nearby parking.
Location: The alley behind the ONYX Midtown condo complex at 1818 X Street.
2. Pigs Flying building:
We’ve all heard the saying “when pigs fly“. Well, watch out cause these sweet little angel pigs are flying in midtown. The flying pigs mural is pretty unique. Pigs with wings flying over a bed of flowers and petals? Yes, please. The all-black wall really compliments the little piggies too.
Location: 2030 28th street right on the corner.
3. The Bank:
Right behind the Sacramento local food court called The Bank is a pretty badass mural. The mural features animals robbing the bank and getting away with the money. It’s not the brightest painting in the bunch, but it’s definitely worth the picture.
Location: 629 J street, behind the building.
