Hi friends!
As you know I am a mom of two. A mom of two girls to be exact. That’s double the pink (Ivy) or purple (Aria). That’s double the attitudes, double the dresses, double the sassiness and of course double the love. Being a girl mom is the greatest thing I have ever done. I wouldn’t change it for anything. Me and my girls we rule the world. So like the girl gang we are, I had to commemorate that. How? By creating some sick shirts just for us.

Ever since I could remember I have always wanted girl gang shirts for me and my gang. In fact, I had a ton on Etsy just sitting in my cart. But while I always wanted one I couldn’t bring myself to pay so much money for an overpriced t-shirt. Why yes, I am cheap thank you. So I decided that I would create my own.
This project was simple, cheap, and cute! So I headed to Target where I purchased all white t-shirts. Any color would do but obviously, I needed white because I wanted to tye-dye them. I then picked up a tye-dye kit from Walmart because Target was out and I used my Cricut machine for the finishing touches.

That night we tye-dyed the shirts. The kit came in many colors but we wanted orange and pink. I personally just thought it was summer time-ish and pretty. Once the shirts were dyed and dried the next day actually I laid them out and prepared them for the Cricut. You can check out the SVG I purchased here. I uploaded the file to the design space and resized it to fit each of our shirts. I mirrored the design and printed them out using my Cricut Joy. Next, I weeded the image and pressed them on the shirts using my Easy Press. You may or may not have noticed but I actually messed up on Ivy’s shirt. Maybe I was too excited and moving to fast because I forgot to weed out a piece of the image and accidentally pressed it onto her shirt. Don’t be like me kids, take your time and press slow ha!

But in all seriousness, I think it came out adorably. With the help of my Cricut Joy the girls loved their shirts, I loved mine and our girl gang lived happily ever after. Gang! gang.
