Hi Friends!
It’s officially summer 2020! You know what that means? Fun in the sun, hanging out with family and can’t forget some good old grilling! I for one can say I definitely plan on doing all of the above. Did I mention I plan on doing it with the help of my friends over at Foster Farms and their new Simply Raised Air Chilled Chicken.

My family and I have always enjoyed purchasing Foster Farms chicken. It has been a hit around our dinner table since I was a kid. Today I am so excited to bring you their latest product. Foster Farms Simply Raised Air Chilled Chicken is the coolest new product in stores. The process of air-chilled chicken is pretty unique. Excess water is actually not absorbed while air-chilling. Therefore natural juices in the chicken are not diluted nor unaltered. Leaving chicken extremely flavorful and faster to cook. So my family and I decided we wanted to try it out. Check out our step by step lemon-herb recipe below. Plus check out the video to see how it all came together!

Step 1: Head to your local Safeway and pick up Foster Farms Air Chilled Chicken in the frozen section. For this particular recipe, I choose thigh fillets.
Step 2: Unpackage your chicken and wash it off. The Foster Farms Air Chilled Chicken comes pre-cleaned. But we always wash my chicken off because it’s just our personal protocol.
Step 3: Season your thigh fillets. To get the lemon herb taste we used a few things. First, we squeezed fresh lemon juice on our fillets. We cut a large lemon into two pieces and just began squeezing all of the juice all over our fillets. We then used a few different seasonings. Six to be exact. We used Organic Lemon Herb, Table Blend, Nature Seasoning, Garlic Powder, Onion Powder, and original seasoned salt. There is no wrong or right amount of seasoning to add to your fillets. You just add your desired amount. For us, we just seasoned over our fillets until we felt the amount sufficed.

Step 4: Get to grilling! Add foil to your grill and grill them for roughly 15- 20 minutes on each side.
Step 5: Dinner is served! Once your fillets are done add sides and enjoy with your family!

This recipe was so fun to make with the help of my sister and even better to share with our family. Everyone loved the delicious texture of the food and how it tasted so fresh. I did as well but I also loved the fact that I cut my grilling time in half! Because the fillets cook so much faster with the new and improved air-chilled chicken. Remember earlier when I spoke a little bit about that? I am so amazed I got to try it first hand.

The Foster Farms Air Chilled Chicken was such a delight and if you plan on grilling with your family this summer I would totally recommend it for you guys. Happy chillin and grillin my friends!
