Hi friends!
Easter is just right around the corner and for a majority of us while Easter won’t look like it normally does that’s okay because we will make the best of our situation anyway am I right? So on the blog today I will show you how I made my girls quick Easter baskets with a special twist for the holiday.
Despite everything going on I still want Easter to be special for my girls. So a few things we will still do? Get dressed up, dye and hunt for Easter eggs and of course, have fun baskets. While some of the things I already had saved in my closet for a few weeks the rest of the things we’re very easy to just do a Target pick up for. Many stores have pick up these days or you can order offline which makes everything very convenient especially at the moment. So let’s hop into these baskets and see what’s inside.
The basket: The baskets themselves are from none other than Hearth & Hand with Magnolia. When I first stumbled upon these beautiful baskets I loved how modern they looked. I am typically an old fashion Easter basket kinda girl but decided to switch it up. Another thing I love about these baskets was the size and color. The size is perfect for little ones to hold and tote around with and the caramel yellow is just gorgeous. Ah! I love it. The basket also comes in a larger version and is sour cream-colored. My baskets were only $9.99 and you can find them here.
The Sandal: Though we are not doing any outdoor activities right now these Mabyn Ankle Strap sandals by Cat & Jack will be so perfect for summer. Not only do they come in 4 other colors such as these ones pictured Cognac. But they also pair amazing with any outfit and they are velcro. The sandals retail for $16.99 but they are actually on sale right now for $13.59! Hurry! run! you can find them here.
The Candy: What’s an Easter basket without candy? and especially a chocolate Easter bunny at that. The Hershey’s Milk Chocolate Hollow Easter bunny is not only delicious but cute. Its gold foil is sweet amongst the caramel yellow basket and it’s little blue-collar gives it a fun pop of color. The bunny retails for $4.29 and you can find it here.
The Toy: If your kids are like mine then it’s no surprise that the L.O.L Suprise! Spring Bling pet is a must-have. The limited-edition pet features one mystery pet and five adorable accessories. Plus the ball itself is basically like one cool Easter egg. This retails for $9.99 and you can find it here.
& of course…
The Easter tag: So scrolling through the gram I found this Etsy shop by the name if MaddiAndMase. Their personalized Wooden Easter Bunny Name tag instantly had my heart. I reached out to MaddiAndMase and next thing I know I had Ivy and Aria’s custom name tag in my mailbox. These tags seriously made the entire basket. Without them, the basket wouldn’t be the same. Thank you so much, Renee, for these wonderful tags. Also, friends, today is the LAST DAY to order in time for Easter and they are only $8.00 so hurry and click here to order!
The Others: So like I said at the beginning of my post I had picked up a few things weeks ago. Unfortunately, these items cannot be linked they are the fun flower sunglasses and the carrot socks. These cannot be linked because they are actually from Target’s dollar spot and dollar spot items are not sold online. The other thing that cannot be linked is then pink Frozen tattoo egg. I actually purchased that from Walmart for $1.00 but it is not available online either, only in-store. But no worries this is where you can get creative and add your own cool sunglasses, socks, and egg or maybe even replace those items for something else your little one would like if you aren’t able to find them.
So there you have it. A super easy Easter basket with most items you can easily do a Target pick up for or online order for. But no matter what your Easter looks like this year I hope you have fun and stay safe. Happy Easter my friends.
