Hi friends!
What does your daily routine look like with your little ones? Well in our house, the girls wake up, eat breakfast, play a little, and then get ready for their day. Which means choosing something to wear and then, well, then comes the part I dread the most: hair time!
My girls love getting all dressed up in their “pretty clothes,” as they call it. So naturally, they want their hair to look pretty too. But having two kids with two different hair types can get a little crazy. That was, until I discovered my new best friend in For Kids specialty haircare products from Target.
We all know that I frequent Target at least a few times a week with my girls. It’s our favorite store and we love shopping there. They always have the quality products and so many options. So when it was time to shop for new hair care products for the girls, we headed straight there. In the baby section near the bath time and hair products, I discovered new Curl Defining Shampoo & Leave-In Conditioner.
I read over the product and was sold on it. Not to mention, my girls were sold on the little superhero on the packaging. They were ecstatic that she looked like them and wore an adorable heart on her cape.
It was time to get home and try these products out. Because if the products were anything like the superhero on the front, I knew they would save the day.
So once we got home, the girls and I were both eager to test out these new products and see what they were about. But remember when I mentioned earlier that hair times is one of the time I dread the most because each of my daughters has different hair types? Ivy has really long, thick hair that often gets tangled because it’s so curly. Her hair can take forever to detangle and she is really tender-headed, so she often will throw a tantrum because it hurts.
Whereas Aria’s hair is long, too, but not as thick like Ivy. Aria also has curly hair but unlike her sister, it is often super easy to maintain. Aria’s hair is very fine and rarely gets tangled. Two sisters, one mom, and two totally different hair types. Now you can see where my struggle comes from. Though, I was feeling hopeful about the Curl Defining Shampoo & Leave-In Conditioner.
So, first, we used the Curl Defining Shampoo. Upon opening the bottle, the product smelled really good. It came out smooth and has an amazing fragrance that literally lasts all day. Which is great because we know little ones get dirty.
Next, I used the Curl Defining Leave-In Conditioner. I noticed it had a similar smell to the Curl Defining Shampoo, which I continuously enjoyed. The Curl Defining Leave-In Conditioner is recommended for little ones with curly or frizzy hair. Curly is more up Aria’s alley and frizzy is more up Ivy’s. It has shea butter in it, which smooths all the frizz and also defines all the curls. Plus, with the 24-hour wave and curl definition, it left their hair looking pretty throughout the day. Both the Curl Defining Shampoo and Curl Defining Leave-In Conditioner are pediatrician and ophthalmologist tested and use No More Tears® formula. This means it’s hypoallergenic and contains no parabens, phthalates, sulfates, or dyes. This mom approves!
Once I was done with the girls in the bath and they were all dry, I easily styled their hair in pigtails, let them get dressed in their pretty clothes, and they were ready for the day. I absolutely loved both the Curl Defining Shampoo and Curl Defining Leave-In Conditioner. Moms and dads, take it from me, you must try New Johnson’s® kids hair care products—available at your local Target!
