This post is very dear to me because not only does someone I know suffer from a chronic illness, but someone extremely near and dear to my heart, my mother. My mother has suffered from chronic headaches for as long as I can remember. Some days are better than others, someday arent. Some days are easy, some hard. Some days it’s like she doesn’t even have the illness like it doesn’t exist. Other days it’s like a dark cloud over her head all day. My mother is the strongest person I know so watching her suffer I knew the pain must have been unbearable.
The Walgreens app provides app users with tools to help ensure that they don’t ever miss a day’s medication again. With some many amazing features on the app users are set up with the help they need to stay on top of taking their medications. So what does the app have to offer? Well for starters the app offers what is called a “pill reminder”. What this is, is an alert reminder that keeps you on track for when it’s time to take your medication. Because creating a routine for taking mediation is very important. The app also has another cool feature called “Walgreens Express TM”. Walgreens Express TM is a service that helps out with refills. Saving users a trip to the store and more time to relax. One of the best thing about the app is the pharmacy chat. Got a question about your medications at 3:00 AM? Walgreen’s has you covered with 24/7 pharmacy chat to help. Pretty convenient right? With so many great features on the app, users will never be alone in this fight against their chronic illness. If you or someone you know is interested in the app I would always advise to speak to a local pharmacist or doctor. Remember it’s most important to always follow what your doctor prescribes.
Chronic illnesses aren’t often talked about so raising awareness about them was very important to me as not only a blogger but a daughter. I encourage everyone to download the app. Thank you for taking the time to read this post and I hope you share this post and the Walgreens app with the ones you love. Most importantly I hope they find solemn in their hearts.
