“Pismo Beach here come the Carr’s.”
This trip was one we had waited months for. You see initially our trip to Pismo Beach was planned for last fall, but due to the Parsaide fires (read more about it here) our trip was unfortunately postponed. Being able to finally take the trip we felt very thankful. We felt even more thankful for the people who made it possible. Our friends over at Inn At The Pier.
First stop? Do I even have to tell you? The beach of course. The girls couldn’t wait to get their tiny toes in the sand. The beach was gorgeous it looked really big and I couldn’t help but feel so lucky to able to finally see it in person with my family. It was definitely a surreal moment ill always cherish and remember.
After playing at the beach for a moment our appetites were worked up. The 4-hour drive down played a part in that too. Since we were already out and had heard a ton about Splash Cafe we decided to check it out. Though the line was out the door it moved fast and the food was yummy too. We walked a few blocks exploring and grabbing some sweet treats before heading back to the hotel and calling it a night. I think once we got back in I showered for an hour because the shower at Inn At The Pier was so amazing. The water stayed hot forever and I enjoyed every minute of it until it was time for bed.
