Hi friends!
Can I tell you something? Since I started my blog in November of 2017 I have had the chance to meet and interact with so many new faces. I have been able to network with other moms, big brand companies, small businesses and more. Each time that I’m able to meet new people it’s fun for me. So last week I had the opportunity to attend a mommy blogger brunch and let me tell you something else it was so legit.
The morning of the event I went back and forth with myself “I’m not going” “I’m going” “nope not going” “um yes I’m gonna go“. It’s not that I didn’t wanna go but I am a very shy person at times so there’s that. I had no idea who was going to be there or what we were going to be doing but I knew there would be food so that was pretty much all the information I needed 🙂
I arrived around 11:15 am the brunch started at 11:00 but many of the ladies trickled in between 11:00-11:30ish. To my surprise, I was greeted right away by my friend Kimi. I had never met Kimi before only talked to her online so that was a nice surprise. She was just as sweet in person as she was online. I was greeted by a few other ladies to including our gracious host Ashley and Laura. The brunch was at Laura’s house which I might say was so beautiful and Pinterest worthy. As as the moms started arriving I started to recognize some familiar faces. A few I had already met before, and some I’ve only met online. It was so surreal having talked to these moms daily online and finally being able to meet in person. I spent most of the brunch talking to a new friend I made named Romina and my girlfriend Jennifer who again I had talked to online forever but never met.
The brunch was super chill we all snacked on pretty fine foods. Including a gorgeous hand made platter, fruits and granola, cake pops and more. Oh and basically all you can drink wine. We also each received super cute goodie bags with all types of treats inside. Below I have linked all of the awesome businesses who sponsored the brunch for us moms.
The brunch was so beautiful. So many moms, so much girl power in the room and so motivating. I’d just like to say thank you to Ashely and Laura who put the brunch together for us. It was awesome and I’m so glad I went. I can’t wait for the next one!
Thank you, Liz Lopez, who provided all the photographs that are included in this blog.
