Comfort really does start with what you’re weari Comfort really does start with what you’re wearing underneath. 💛

I’ve been wearing the new Jockey VentraCool Air collection, & it’s quickly become part of my everyday routine. The sports bra gives me comfortable support for my walks and low-impact movement, while the underwear stays soft, breathable, & comfortable all day thanks to the smooth waistband & StayCool+® technology.

Whether I’m getting some movement in or simply relaxing at home, I love pieces that help me feel comfortable & confident from the inside out.

One of my favorite milestones this summer was watc One of my favorite milestones this summer was watching Riley learn to ride without training wheels. 💕🚲

Seeing her build confidence, independence, and excitement with every ride has been such a special experience as a mom.

We’ve loved using the RoyalBaby EZ Bike and its unique “slide before ride” approach, which helps kids focus on balance first before transitioning to pedals. The ergonomic design allows Riley to comfortably place her feet on the ground, helping her feel stable and confident while she rides.

One of our favorite features is the quick-release pedal system, making it easy to transition from balance mode to pedal mode as kids grow and develop their riding skills.

From those first practice rides to confidently riding on her own, it has been amazing to watch her progress. ☀️

RoyalBaby Mid-Year Big Shopping Week is happening from July 12th to July 19th! Get 10%–25% OFF your purchase. Check my link in bio for the exclusive shopping link! 🎉

Thank you @royalbabybikes for being part of such a special milestone in Riley’s riding journey!

Hawaiian Airlines brought the spirit of adventure, family, & Hawaiʻi to the evening in such a fun way, making this screening feel even more special for our family. From the concessions & photobooth to getting an early look at the film together, it was such a fun night out with my family.

Disney’s live action Moana is officially in theaters starting today, July 10. And when you’re ready to plan your own Pacific adventure, fly Hawaiian Airlines ✈️🌊🤙🏾

#AD You know when you’re playing with your dog & #AD You know when you’re playing with your dog & catch a little whiff of their breath? 😅 That’s why I wanted an easy way to support Disney’s dental care routine.

We’ve added PetLabCo.® ProBright Advanced to her daily routine. It’s a clinically tested dental powder that I simply sprinkle onto her food no toothbrush needed.

It’s such an easy addition to our mornings before we head out for our daily walks & playtime together. 🐶💛

I wanted her to have a few things to make the adjustment a little easier & a little more fun, so I filled it with braces-friendly goodies like a mini water pick, special floss, toothbrushes made for braces, a travel kit, mirror, & even noodles for easy slurping 🍜😂 I also added a sketchbook + pens so she’d have something fun to do & a distraction if her mouth starts feeling sore.

& yes… I had to make the balloon match too 😭🎈 complete with braces!

Such a simple way to make a big day feel a little more special 🤍 #braces #bracesforkids #tweenmom #bracesjourney #giftbaskets

2019 Family Friendly Easter Events in Sacramento.

March 5, 2019      Porsha Carr

Hi friends!

Happy March! Can you believe were already in the month of March? Time fly’s right? And you know what? Before we know it Easter will be here. Here in Sacramento Easter events are super fun from celebrating with music, food, Easter hunts and more, there is a ton to do! So in today’s post I have teamed up with one of my good friends and favorite mommy bloggers Maria of Moms Of Sacramento to bring you 8 of the best of the best Easter events here in the city. Lets get started with my top 4.

1. Easter Eggstravaganza: This family fun Easter adventure will be held at fair oaks park. There will be a ton of free activites like easter egg hunt for the littles, face painting, bunny photos and more. This will be held April 20 from 9:00am-1:00pm find out more info here.

2. Eggstravaganzoo: This zootastic event will take you and your family on a adventure as you go on special Easter egg hunts around the zoo. With crafts and prizes your little ones will love it. This event does get crowded so its suggested to register. It will be held at the Sacramento zoo April 20 as well starting at 9:00am-3:00pm. Find out more info here.

3. Easter River Cruise: Wanna try something different? How about a Easter cruise on the local river? Hornblower cruises will soon be offering a unique experience were you and your family can cruise for one hour with the Easter Bunny himself. They havent released very much info yet. But when they do you can find it here.

4. Easter Egg Express: Toot! Toot! All aboard for some Easter family fun with the Sacramento River Train! This event is pretty unique too. You hop on a train that takes you to a giant Easter egg hunt. Activities, optional lunches & a visit from the bunny this will be a fun ride. This takes place From March-April. You can get more information here.

Now here are Maria’s top 4!

5. Spring Eggstravaganza @ Fairytale Town: Fairytale town has QUITE the crowd at their holiday festivities and we’re so excited that they finally decided to create a separate member’s only Easter event this year! That’s right, in anticipation of the crowds I’m sure, they’ve now split it up into a member’s only night on Friday, April 19th (working parent friendly! 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm), and a general public event on both Saturday, April 20th and Sunday April 21st (11:00 am to 4:00 pm). To make the egg hunt itself fair, they split it up by age group on the different lawns and prizes are redeemed at Mr. McGregor’s garden.  Of course, in addition to the hunt, there are also arts and crafts and a special “Bunny Bootcamp” show in the puppet theatre.  We caught it last year and the kids loved it! Advance tickets are $7 and day of tickets are $10 (1 and under free). Buy your tickets or check out more information at FairyTale Town’s website.

6. Easter Eggstravaganza (yes, another Eggstravaganza lol) @ Funderland:  This is another one we’ve been to and really enjoyed! Rides and the hunt must be paid for, but if I remember correctly it is like $3 per child per hunt. Egg hunts, while relatively small, happen hourly and again are separated by age group. One was more than enough for last year, and we sprinkled in a few rides before and after for good measure. This even runs April 12-14. For more information, click here.

7. Easter Daffodils @ DOCO’s Second Saturdays:  Everyone who sees my content knows I’ve been big on my downtown Sac lately! We accidentally stumbled across a Christmas Second Saturday event in December put on by Verge Center for the Artsand it was so well put together. April 13thDOCO will be putting on Easter arts and crafts for FREE where the littles can make crate(paper) daffodils. Their site also mentions “bunch” with the Easter Bunny (I think it means brunch?) – thought it does not mention the price.  Keep this link handy for updates as it gets closer.

8. Underwater Egg Hunt @ Pat O’Brien Community Pool: Yes, you read that right. UNDER WATER. For anyone looking for something new and different, this egg hunt will go down as just that! Cost is $5 per child with a special prize to the diver who finds the golden egg!  Children 6 and under must be supervised at all times and the event is for ages 12 & under. Open swim time after the hunt and don’t forget to bring a mesh/water friendly basket to collect your eggs! Please note, this one WILL be cancelled if there is rain. More information at Southgate Recreation & Park District.

Well friends there ya have it. 8 fun things to do with your whole family here in Sacramento! If you’re a local and have any more events to add feel free to leave them in the comments below. Even if your not local, tell us what fun events are going on in your city. We’d love to hear about them. Maria and myself will definitely be attending some events on our list. So if you see us out be sure to say hello! 🙂
Happy Easter friends!
