Hi guys!
Happy Friday how are you? I’m doing well, just about to start my work day and head out. For me it’s just a typical Friday, I’ll go to work, maybe grab some Starbucks then home to go to sleep in my bed. Unfortunately for many Friday isn’t a typical day and it probably won’t be for a while. You see for many they don’t have a job to go to, no longer can afford to just grab a Starbucks and their bed has been lost along with their homes and everything else in their lives. These are the victims of the 2018 California wildfires.
The 2018 California wildfires have been some of the most destructive fires in history. Burning acres of land, destroying many homes, burning down an entire town and even killing over 40 people. The fires have been burning for days now and while countless firefighters fight to try to contain it, the fires continue. Even though these fires are thousands of miles from where we live here in Sacramento they are effecting us as well. With our air quality so bad that all schools have been shut down in and around our surrounding areas. The air is currently so bad that our kids cannot go outside and many are walking the streets with a mask. Stores like Lowe’s and Home Depot have even started passing out mask for free. But the quality of our air is nothing in comparison to what these innocent people are going through. So I’ve decided to do something to help and you can too.
With countless ways to help you may not know how or where to start so below, I have listed some ways you can help the victims of the California fires.
