Hi guys!

Remember a while back when I posted the story of the young woman needing feminine supplies? And how U by Kotex was stepping in to help women just like her? Well, with such popularity that post went straight to the top of being one of my most read blog posts ever (read that post here)! Now thanks to all of my wonderful readers I am back with a quick part 2 recap of what the movement is and how it’s not too late for you to get involved.

U By Kotex is a brand that creates feminine products for females. With everything from pads, to tampons and liners, they have it all. With 1 and 4 women struggling to be able to purchase supplies like this U By Kotex thought it was time to step in and save the day. The created an organization called The Alliance for Period Supplies. This organization not only helps women in need of these supplies but they also help to create awareness for issues like this that affect women. Making these products and more really accessible.

 

During the month of October U by Kotex teamed up with Walmart donating 5 Million Period Products to many women in need. On top of this Walmart also donated $25,000 to The Alliance for Period Supplies. Myself, U By Kotex and Walmart will continue to raise awareness for The Alliance for Period Supplies because it’s not over yet.
