Here’s how I made them:
• Cook your bacon
• Scramble your eggs
• Unroll refrigerated croissant dough
• Add cheese + bacon + eggs
• Roll them up and bake until golden (about 10–12 mins at 350°)

Minimal effort. Maximum yum! 😋

Tiny banana split recipe (featuring. Little Partners).

June 26, 2018      Porsha Carr

Hi guys!

Summer is here! We are so excited around our house. From family picnics to splash pads this summer is sure to be a fun one. I think what I am most excited about is the food. I love going to BBQ’s and eating ice cream. But sometimes it’s too hot to go outdoors. When that happens I love staying indoors and trying out fun recipes for and the girls and me to do together. While doing so it’s important to not only stay cool in the house but safe in the kitchen too. So in today’s blog post my girls and I are making tiny banana splits with the help from our friends over at Little Partners!

Little Partners is a shop started in 1992 by a mother named Carol. Inspired by her daughter Hanna, Carol wanted to create a stool that was not only safe for Hanna but something she could use to be more independent and do things on her own. Fast forward to 2018 and Little Partners has grown! helping our little ones through play and creativity Little Partners creates a variety of stool designs that are adjustable, flexible, great quality and most importantly safe.  Little Partners not only has stools but also learning towers. They even offer things such as learning towers that have chalk, magnetic, dry and erase boards for hours of fun.

For review, my girls were lucky enough to receive the 3-in-1 growing step stool. It was great! While the girls went to a birthday party with their dad, my nieces and I put it together fairly quick. Big shout out to my nieces for the help! The stool 20”L x 15”W x 32”H dimensions made it great for Ivy and Aria to both fits on it. It’s made of birch wood and has 3-position adjustable height. So it will grow when the girls grow. Oh, and the coolest part it can hold up to 250lbs! I could even use it if I wanted too. Super cool uh? Plus it’s easy to tuck away and doesn’t take up a lot of space. Not only did we use it for our banana splits but it can also be used for things like helping little ones hang their artwork in their nurseries or brushing their teeth before bed. So making our tiny banana splits with it was a breeze.

I found this recipe on Food Network Canada check it out here.
I tweaked the recipe and made it my own. The original recipe was fun, but a little hard for toddlers so I took out and added some things. The only thing cost about $7 and I purchased everything I didn’t already have from Walmart. For my recipe you’ll need the following:

-Bittersweet chocolate
-3  Bananas
-Chopped nuts
-Whip Cream
-Cherries halved
&
-Sprinkles

Step 1: Parents cut the banana into about 2-inch pieces.
Step 2: Grab your Little Partners 3-in-1 growing step stool and grab your little ones. Dip the bottom half of the banana in chocolate and sprinkle/roll it in the nuts. (Side note: I actually used two types of chocolate I felt one worked better than the other once we got started.)
Step 3: Refrigerated bananas about 2 hours to allow chocolate dry. You can then you can set aside your Little Partners 3-in-1 growing step stool. (let the kiddos take a nap so you can lick the chocolate covered bowl in peace ha ha).

Step 4: Once the chocolate is dry, grab your Little Partners stool again and add on a dollop of whip cream on the banana, add one cherry halves and sprinkle on some sprinkles and there you have it! Tiny banana splits.

So much fun and so easy to make. The girls loved them and I loved knowing they were on a stool that was safe while we created them.

Thank you so much to Little Partners for our 3-in-1 growing step stool.
