In honor of Mental Health Awareness Month, I’m sharing 5 simple ways you can protect your peace & pour back into you.

1. Start your mornings with God – Pray, read a verse, or sit in silence & invite Him into your day.

2. Say ā€œNOā€ without guilt – Protect your time, energy, and peace.

3. Get outside daily – Even a quick walk or sitting in the sun can shift your mood.

4. Talk to someone you trust—or write it down – If you don’t feel ready to open up to someone, grab a journal & let it out. Your feelings deserve space, either way. Me personally I talk to God.

5. Celebrate the small wins – You’re doing better than you think.

Showing up for yourself isn’t selfish—it’s necessary. Let’s normalize choosing rest, boundaries, & joy on purpose.

5 tips for soothing toddler boo-boos (featuring. Bio Mist).

May 7, 2018      Porsha Carr

Hi guys!
“I am going to put Aria in the car seat,” I told my husband as we got ready to take the girls out for a family outing. “Ivy get over here so I can put you in next!” I yelled at my oldest daughter. What was she doing? running around the front yard like a mad woman in circles. “Ivy get over here, stop running!” I yelled again.. “Ivy now!“. At this point Ivy is still running, then all of a sudden she trips,Ā  falls to the ground and cue the dramatic toddler screaming. Now she has a bruise on her knee and is crying for a ban-aid. Suddenly all of a sudden little sister Aria is crying also she needs a band-aid too for her 3 week old cut on her arm. This would have been a great time for some Bio Mist, which brings me to today’s blog topic.Ā 5 tips for soothing toddler boo-boos featuring Bio Mist.

Ā

Thaumaturgic Bio Mist aka Bio Mist for short is a cosmeceutical-grade product that is created to support your skins natural defenses againstĀ all kind of conditions. Made for dry skin, oily pores and even eczema, Bio Mist is safe for everyone even little kids. It is completely hypoallergenic and made with no harmful chemicals, artificialĀ ingredients or fragrances. In fact, Bio Mist is made with HOCI and very pure with just electrolyzed salt and water. You can virtually use Bio Mist on everything from acne and infections to scrapes and cuts. All of this is amazing for soothing toddlers and boo-boos, andĀ that reminds me to tip number one…

Ā

1. Use Bio Mist: Unlike all the other similar products on the market Bio Mist doesn’t irritate your little one’s skin and can be used on various skin types as mentioned above. You just spray it on the boo-boo and keep it moving.
2.Ā  Kiss it: I know this one might be sort of funny, but its true. Whenever my girls have a boo-boo they love for me to kiss it and suddenly it makes it all better.
3. Fun band-aid: Once you spray your little one’s boo-boo with the Bio Mist be sure to let it dry for at least 2 minutes and then add a fun band-aid to it. I find that the dollar spot at Target always has fun cartoon character ones.
4. Lollipop, lollipop: I don’t really like encouraging my kid’s behavior with candy. But hey a little lollipop is fine when you have a nasty boo-boo.
5. Reassurance: When little ones get hurt it is scary even if they do over exaggerate as if they are trying to win an Oscar. It can be a tough moment for them. As long as mommy/daddy is there for a hug and words of reassurance that it’ll be okay, your little one will be just fine.

I hope you guys enjoyed my tips. What do you do to sooth your toddlers boo-boos?
