Hi guys!
For years and years, our little’s have been playing with dough. We all know and love dough, its a childhood classic right? But what is one thing we don’t love about dough? Yep, the fact that those little tiny containers are a huge mess! One time I came into my bedroom and not only had Ivy and Aria got into the dough but there we’re tiny broken containers everywhere and so much play dough squashed in my carpet. Can you say nightmare? From then on out I thought about banning dough, but I didn’t have the heart because they love it. Then I thought about putting the dough in sandwich bags, but I didn’t want to dry them out. Then a miracle came along called Dough Dots.
Dough Dots are a brand new toy that is changing the way we see dough. Dough Dots are becoming the talk of all mamas everywhere. Once you little’s get a hold of Dough Dots they won’t ever need or want regular dough again. So what are Dough Dots exactly? Well, Dough Dots are fun educational toys designed for preschoolers and kindergartners ages 2 to 6, although they are great for the older little too.
Dough Dots are play dough that comes stored in bright colored balls. Super easy to open and close, your little’s can pop the Dough Dots open all by themselves. Outside each ball are stamps that your little’s can use to create different designs or patterns with their dough. Plus because Dough Dots balls are encouraged as a part of play. They are good for sensory play. From rolling the balls to popping them open and even molding the dough the Dough Dots make a fantastic toy for little’s to have. They are even perfect to play with, with friends or on a play date too. With Dough Dots there is no limit to what they can do!
In the mail for review my girls received Dough Dots 4 Pack Rectangle, 4 Pack Square, Take Along Tube, Individual Dots & 2 Surprise Packs. The day we actually got them in the mail Ivy was sick so I did not let them play with them until the weekend. When I finally brought out the package and took everything out the girls were instantly excited and ready for a fun time. Ivy even said “what is this little ball?” I explained to them what the Dough Dots did and how they worked.
After that, I let them free to experience the Dough Dots for themselves. They had no problems at all getting the balls open by themselves. The only thing they really needed my help with, was opening the packing itself. The dough smelled really good. I can’t explain the smell but it was sort of sweet. The dough was very vibrant and looked nice and smooth. For this reason I did not let the girls mix the colors. However they really loved them, the rolled the balls around, played bumper ball with them and even rolled them underneath the table. They used the animal cutters to make cut out the dough. Which they had a blast with. Aria even rolled her into “little worms.” The girls cried when it was time to put them away.
My favorite part of the Dough Dots as a mother is that they are safe for my 2 and 4-year-old to play with. I also am in love with the fact that Dough Dots make for a fast clean up process because they don’t come tiny small containers like traditional dough. They come in nice round shaped balls that my kids can open and close without needing help from me. Oh and I enjoy the fact that if the kids ever deiced they aren’t in the mood to play with dough, then they can just play with the balls itself. If you are in the market for a new kid toy, that encourages learning and easy to clean then

Amaya loves play doh but I have such a dislike for it so this may be a good compromise.
