When we received our package in the mail we were pretty excited to get it opened. Inside we had a total of five cookie cutters. Mickey mouse, mermaid, a ballerina and my favorite. Two personalized gingerbread girls with the names of Ivy and Ari on them. My girls were so happy. They had never made cookies before let alone had cookie cutters with their names on them. My girls and I had a ton of fun being able to do so. We spent hours in the kitchen baking together. These are memories that will really remember. We all really enjoyed ourselves.
We were lucky enough to be able to use my good friend Maria’s recipe for sugar cookies, check it out below:
3 cups flour.
1 tsp baking powder.
1 cup butter.
1 cup sugar.
1 egg.
1 tsp vanilla.
Mix all ingredients together until dough it’s at your desired consistency. Add a bit of flour to your board and rolling pin so dough doesn’t stick. Once that is done use your Sugary Charm cookie cutters to cut out your cookies. Bake at 350 degrees until golden brown and there you have it a perfect batch of delicious sugar cookies for your family.
