Girl mom here! I am the proud owner and maker of two beautiful daughters. They are everything! my pride, joy, inspiration, drive, my life. Honestly the world, I love my girls. I love being their mama. Each day is a brand new adventure with them. Each day is a brand new little adventure. So when me and my little adventurer’s got a chance to work with the children’s clothing store Little Adventures Dress Ups we were super duper ecstatic.
Little Adventures is a clothing store founded by two mamas Jenny and Heather. Between Jenny and Heather they have 15 kids! Yep 15 kids so trust me when I say these mamas know a thing or two, or fifteen about little kids and adventures. After constantly watching the materials on other princess dresses fall apart Jenny and Heather decided to create their own dresses that would withstand the little adventures of childhood. At last! Little Adventures was born.
Little Adventures Dress Up makes a bunch of items that relate to your little’s. They make things from traditional dresses from the most popular Disney movies to cloaks, tutus, wands wings, jewelry and even doll dresses. Little Adventures Dress Up not only makes things for girls but they make things for boys and adults too! I spent forever on their website with my girls trying to decide on what they wanted. Eventually Ivy choose the Ice Princess dress and Aria choose the Lily Pad Princess dress. The girls were so happy it was like a princesses dream come true being able to shop from Little Adventures.
Once we received their dresses we took a trip to a place fit for a princess. This huge park downtown that has a playground built like a castle. It was the perfect place to let the girls run around and test their pretty dresses out. We constantly kept getting stopped and receiving compliments from everyone. This day was even more special because I had the pleasure having a good friend of mine come and shoot the girls in their dresses. It was absolutely amazing!
My friend Ashley Denhalter is one of the best photographers I know. She was very patient with the kids and she really made the photos come alive. Ivy really loved being around her and wanted to play with her and hold her hand. This was the first time I actually got to work with her on a professional level but trust me this wont be the last time. You will definitely be seeing a lot more of her photos on my blog this year. Thank you Ashley for the wonderful photos of my girls. We love you.
