Hi guys

Wow cant believe we only have a few more days left in the year. This has been one of the best years of my life. I wanted to share with you guys the best part of 2017 for me. My wedding day. On August 3 2017 I married my best friend finally after being together for 10 years. We go engaged back in 2013 shortly after we started planning our wedding we found out we were pregnant. Fast forward a few more years and another baby later we were finally able to make our dream wedding happen. I wouldn’t change the order of the way things happened for anything. I love my girls with all my heart. I love my husband. I love our family and I’m glad we made it official.

My wedding was everything I could of dream of. I had never felt more beautiful than I did on my wedding day. We got married next to the water, and beneath the trees at 3:00 in the evening in Lake Tahoe, CA. The weather was the most perfect I had ever felt it in my life. I walked down the aisle to “All My Life” by K-Ci and JoJo. Our flower girls were our daughters. They were also our wedding party. They stood up there by our sides. The girls had costume hand made flower girl baskets and crowns. They were made by my beautiful friend Danielle. I held a custom bouquet of flowers that my best friend Melissa got me. We only invited about 35-40 guest and everyone we invited showed up minus three people. We had traditional vows, we didn’t want to write our own. Our ceremony lasted about 10 minutes maybe. I have no idea because I could not stop crying. I actually did pretty well keeping it together until it was time for the rings then I lost it. I was embarrassed for like two seconds then I didn’t care. When our pastor announced us husband and wife we kissed, everyone cheered, it was pretty special.

We took 300 photos, this is not a exaggeration I have the flash drive with 300 photos. I love looking back at our wedding photos. After my wedding was over it started to rain (I heard this is a sign of a good long lasting marriage.) So far so good 🙂 The rain only lasted long enough until we all made it to the restaurant for dinner. My amazing parents paid for everybody’s dinner. They actually paid for our entire wedding as well. After dinner we went our separate ways. My sisters took our girls that night. We sat in our hotel, me in my wedding dress, my husband in his tux for the longest time talking, laughing, holding hands. We couldn’t believe we just got married after 10 years. Later that night we ended up at Fat Burger we split the biggest hamburger and french fries on the menu. It was so chill, just the two of us it was the best. The day after the wedding we spent the day o the beach watching our kids play in the water it was heaven.

I thank god everyday for my husband. He does things that gets on my nerves. He does things that make me over the moon happy. We fight, we fall apart, we fall back together again. I love him, he loves me. I love our marriage. I feel so blessed to be his wife. I feel so lucky he choose me. He’s my best friend. As I type my eyes are watering. Wow all the feels all over again.. I’ve posted a few photos for you to see. Thank you guys for letting me share special bits and pieces of this day with you. Best day ever, I love you Dayjhan.
